Spotlight: Artist Management Association

Working with the Artist Management Association has been such a rewarding project. I’ve had the chance to refresh their website and create social media content that reflects their professionalism, clarity, and dedication to supporting the creative industry, especially artists reps in professional photography. This is an area I know well, as I was a professional photographer in New York City for over 15 years. Now I have expanded my scope to include social media and marketing, especially strategy and planning, but doing those things within the photo industry is really interesting.

One of my favorite parts of this work is making sure their message stays consistent and clean across platforms—so whether you’re on the website or scrolling through their posts, you get the same polished and knowledgeable experience.

When I started out in the Photo industry, digital was just entering the commercial photo world in 2002. I worked with companies that helped to transition established photographers to be able to use Digital. Today almost every person is walking around with a camera in their pocket. Who would ever have thought that. It really is like magic. So the Artist Management Association is playing an important role and keeping a razor-sharp focus on what directions the industry is taking today, and how to remain successful and grow.
